EVENT CALENDAR

Our events are designed to empower, educate, and uplift marginalized voices.

we believe in the power of connection and celebration

We’re not your typical event space—we’re a community-driven, co-created experience where everyone contributes to the magic.

Our gatherings are designed to foster connection, creativity, and radical inclusion, all while keeping things fun, safe, and empowering. Whether you’re here for a workshop, social event, or something a little more adventurous, here’s what you need to know about how we do things.

At AP, we believe in building spaces where everyone is free to be their authentic selves without pressure, judgment, or rigid expectations. Our events exist at the intersection of creativity, mutual care, and self-expression, creating an environment where you can explore, learn, and connect in ways that feel right for you. Some of our gatherings are playful and experimental; others are reflective and intimate. No matter the format, you’ll find a culture of respect, curiosity, and radical hospitality.

What makes our events different? They aren’t just about showing up—they’re about showing up together. Whether you’re a long-time community member or stepping into our space for the first time, you’re part of something bigger: a collective experience shaped by all of us. Here, participation isn’t just encouraged—it’s what makes the magic happen. Bring your energy, your creativity, and your respect, and let’s build something incredible.

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT OUR EVENTS

High Potential, Low Expectation

So much could happen at our events, but nothing has to happen. We encourage a mindset of openness—high possibilities, low expectations. No one is obligated to interact in any particular way, and you shouldn’t expect anything from others beyond respect, kindness, and validation. When we let go of expectations, that’s when the real magic happens. This principle keeps interactions free from entitlement and allows genuine, organic connections to form. Whether you meet new friends, discover a new passion, or simply enjoy the atmosphere, the best experiences happen when they aren’t forced.

Everyone Contributes

Our events aren’t just something you show up to—they’re something we all build together. Whether it’s bringing your time, energy, art, skills, or enthusiasm, your participation makes our community thrive. Money is one form of contribution, but so is showing up with intention, lending a hand, or creating an experience that brings joy to others. Think of it like a giant collaborative art piece—you’re part of it!

Contributions can be big or small, visible or behind the scenes. Helping clean up, sharing a creative performance, offering emotional support, or simply being present and engaged all add to the richness of our space. When we all pitch in, we create something bigger than ourselves.

A Foundation of Trust

Trust is the foundation of everything we do. We prioritize privacy, honest risk communication, and shared responsibility for our spaces. Consent isn’t just about avoiding harm—it’s about ensuring every interaction is genuinely desired and joyful. We protect each other, our community, and the magic we create together.

This trust allows us to explore, express, and engage authentically without fear. It means showing up with integrity, honoring commitments, and holding ourselves and each other accountable. When we act with care and respect, we create a space where people feel safe to open up, experiment, and take part in meaningful experiences.

Clear and Present Consent

Consent at AP isn’t just a box to check—it’s an active, ongoing process. We follow the FRIES Method: Freely Given, Revocable, Informed, Enthusiastic/Empowered, and Specific. That means no pressure, no assumptions, and a whole lot of respect. When in doubt, just ask!

Consent applies to everything—not just physical or intimate interactions, but also conversations, photography, and personal boundaries. We believe in practicing consent culture at every level, making sure that everyone feels empowered to engage on their own terms. A space rooted in consent is a space where people feel truly free.

INCLUSION

Our community is built for and by those who have historically been pushed to the margins. We strive to create spaces where BIPOC, QTPOC, and other marginalized identities are not just included but centered. Inclusion isn’t just about opening the door—it’s about ensuring those most impacted by oppression feel ownership, safety, and belonging.

That means fostering an environment where individuals feel seen, heard, and valued, without fear of discrimination, tokenization, or exclusion. We prioritize the voices and experiences of those often erased or overlooked, and we actively encourage participation, leadership, and creativity from those communities. Our events are built with the understanding that true inclusion requires more than good intentions—it requires action, accountability, and ongoing learning.

DIVERSITY

We believe that our differences make us stronger, and we honor the vast spectrum of human experience. Radical inclusion means challenging systemic barriers and centering voices that have been overlooked.

We are committed to maintaining spaces that are accessible, welcoming, and affirming for everyone, regardless of background, identity, or ability. This means continuously learning, evolving, and engaging in conversations that foster deeper understanding.

At AP, we encourage curiosity over assumptions—if you’re not sure how someone identifies or what they need to feel safe, just ask (respectfully!).

Ticket & REFUND Policies

Before you grab your tickets and step into the experience, here’s everything you need to know about our ticketing and refund policies (without the fine print headaches). You can see our full Terms and Conditions for that fine print.

🎟️ Ticketing 101: What You Need to Know

  • Tickets are non-transferable. That means no reselling, gifting, or swapping. Your ticket is linked to you and only you—no exceptions. You may not change the name on your ticket to gift it to someone else, or both of you risk termination from our events.
  • Your ID must match your ticket name. We’ll check your government-issued ID at the door to verify your age and registration. But don’t worry, if you use a preferred name, you can update your Autonomy Project account with both your legal and preferred name in advance.
  • Waitlist magic. If an event sells out, hop on the waitlist! If a spot opens, you’ll get a notification, but you have to claim it fast—otherwise, it goes to the next person in line.
  • Event access rules. Some events are for members only, while others welcome non-members. Check your dashboard for the details before heading out.

💸 Refunds: Keepin’ It Real

  • All sales are final. No take-backs, no refunds—unless there’s a serious issue, and even then, refunds are at the discretion of our leadership. We may elect to provide a discount code for future events however!
  • Can’t make it? We get it, life happens. While we can’t offer refunds, keep an eye out for future events—there’s always something new coming up. You can always email us and donate your ticket to a community member in need.
  • Event changes. If we have to reschedule or make a major change, we’ll notify you ASAP with your options.

📩 Stay in the Loop

  • You’ll get event confirmations, reminders, and important updates via email or text (if you click the "receive texts from us" box during signup). Make sure your contact info is up to date in your AP account so you don’t miss a thing.
  • Not a fan of extra emails? You can opt out of promos, but we’ll still send you need-to-know event info and registration deets.
